Here's an easy, nutritious way to enjoy wonderful seasonal berries over the summer season!

You will need ....
- 1 Jar Millet, oat or rice Amazake
- 250 g seasonal mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
- 200 ml water
- 1 small pinch salt
- 300 ml soya, rice or almost milk
- 1 dsp maple syrup or alternative sweetener to taste
Amazake Berry Smoothie Directions
- Wash the berries and blend all the ingredients together in a liquidiser to form a rich and smooth shake.
- Chill and serve cold.
- For a hot version, put all the ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil.
- Simmer gently for 5 minutes then blend and serve.
- For extra nutritional value, add 1 dsp of ground seeds or almonds to the mixture before blending
