Tasty Tofu Burgers
Super easy
Healthy, great tasting meat free burgers for picnics and summer barbeques.

  • 450 g firm tofu
  • 120 g leek (finely sliced)
  • 100 g grated carrot
  • 2 tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tbs chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp bouillon powder
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbs buckwheat flour
  • 2 tbs fine polenta

Tasty Tofu Burgers Directions

  1. Drain the tofu and squeeze it dry with kitchen paper or a clean tea cloth then grate it coarsely.
  2. Gently fry the leek and carrot together in 1 tbs of oil until tender.
  3. Combine all the ingredients except for the polenta, mix well and season
  4. Form burgers shapes with your hands and roll each burger in the polenta
  5. Place the burgers on an oiled oven tray and bake for 20-30 mins in a medium oven or fry them in the remaining oil
